SandersAlley is a dynamic electro-acoustic duo featuring Jon and Auckland-based singer/guitarist Dave Alley. Sanders Alley Khan is an extended line up which adds the multi talented Dave Khan into the fray. Dave is a highly respected singer, fiddler and mandolin player in NZ. The 3 will tour NZ in early 2011 culminating in the 2011 Auckland Folk Festival.
Taistealai is a nu-folk trio featuring Jon on bouzouki and ukulele, Tom Delaney on bouzouki and Alex Borwick on banjo and mandolin. The band produces a highly-driven free wheeling melodic sound, underpinned by funky bouzouki riffs and quirky arrangements.
Jon has been busy composing and transposing irish harp tunes and jazz standards on the ukulele. Some of these pieces are featured on his new Twigs of the Neem Tree album.
